Mark Bourne
Like the star that falls to Earth near the beginning of the movie, Stardust is glittery and pretty and possesses its own pleasing-enough personality, but it won't set the world on fire.
Wally Hammond
You could call it a cousin of 'Time Bandits' or 'The Princess Bride', but it lacks the former's originality and the latter's heart.
Richard Roeper
Everybody has a lot of fun here.
David Edelstein
It's puffed up in obvious ways but disarmingly puckish in others.
Tasha Robinson
A stern editor with a sense of dramatic timing could have given this film more tension to go with its random bursts of comedy and big, happy fantasy setpieces, but lacking tautness, it'll have to settle for expansive joy.
Stephanie Zacharek
This luminous, magical movie will dazzle even the fantasy-film phobic.

Stardust lights up the screen with a splendid tale of heroism and romance. You don't have to be a fan of fantasies to enjoy its considerable whimsy.

One of the best original fairy tales told. Don't let the title fool you...This movie is great. The story is strong, the characters are believable and the few special effects are done very well. Michelle and De Niro are wonderful and the story's momentum never stops from begining to end. Imho a must have for your digital collection.
This is one of my favorites!!! Anyone and everyone who loves movies needs to see . A beautifully written and well acted fun for the whole family kind of movie. Rare nowadays. Check it out.
Love this movie So creative. This is a great fractured fairy tale
Best movie ever If you love a good romance with comedy gold and especially if you love the aforementioned but in a fantasy setting, this movie is for you. This is my favorite movie of all time (I'm even a dude) and I'm very critical when it comes to movies I like. This one just blows me away.
I love Great stroy, visuals, and overall such a good movie comedy action romance. If i had $10 i would buy it
Fun and entertaining The previews didn't make me want to see this in the theater. It was much better than I expected. Good movie, I enjoyed it.

The Truman Show

He's the star of the show--but he doesn't know. Jim Carrey wowed critics and audiences alike as unwitting Truman Burbank in this marvel of a movie from director Peter Weir (Witness, Dead Poets Society) about a man whose life is a nonstop TV show. Truman doesn't realize that his quaint hometown is a giant studio set run by a visionary producer/director/creator (Ed Harris), that folks living and working there are Hollywood actors, that even his incessantly bubbly wife is a contract player. Gradually, Truman gets wise. And what he does about his discovery will have you laughing, crying and cheering like few film stories ever have.
