Richard Roeper
A sloppy, lazy, unintentionally laughable sequel.
Andrew O'Hehir
A meta-American movie, a Godardian spoof of the whole genre, an attempt to see how stupid and insulting a motion picture can be and still be a big hit.
James Berardinelli
Taken 2 is more of the same, except a little bigger, a little dumber, and a little less invigorating.
Dana Stevens
So lazily put together that it relies on flashbacks from its predecessor for the majority of its character development.
Charles Gant
Neeson, despite having turned 60 in June, looks spritely enough in the role, and more than capable of another go-round should Taken 2 match its predecessor's success.
Mick LaSalle
As much as this picture is action driven, its greatest delights are grounded in personality, in the fun of having a protagonist who combines homespun values with velociraptor functionality.

Neeson is once again the stalwart center of this giddy, entirely improbable and improbably enjoyable escapade.

Nothing like the 1st movie. The acting is not as good as in the prequel. Main character seems more terminator like. In the 1st movie you can actually feel his desperation to find his little girl. In this one he lacks emotion. Also, the plot is lame. For the bad guy, it is sad when they give a good actor a poorly developed role with a lame script. Overall good actors in an under cooked script. Still somewhat entertaining. Good to rent, bad to see in the theater.

Sooo boring. I went to see this with so much excitement. I LOVED the first one. But this garbage....no creativity no originality. it's Taken...AGAIN. "Hey guess what we took a different member of your family. Time to do the exact same stuff in this movie except in a different city and with the time frame of an afternoon instead of a couple of days so no room to tell any story at all!" Disappointing.

Guess what Just torrented this and bought looper from here. Not only is looper still dnlding but I just got taken for free and is finished while looper is half way done(lol i got taken) it's done down loading already. Google play, if you made it faster and a LOT cheaper i would buy from u always. But as it stands, your site is slow, your movies overpriced and you dont have the option to rent on half the titles on here. Im sorry, but you don't make it easy for us, even when we'd rather give you our money.

Great Movie, but not as good as the first. Definitely a good watch but not as interesting and at the edge of your seat like the first one. I think that might be the case because you can pretty much guess what's going to happen and how it's going happen. Regardless, if you're a fan of the first one then I don't see how you wouldn't want to see the second one. I'd suggest rent before you actually buy.
Taken Not bad...not bad.. There's only a few continuity points, but others wise- with what they had and to work with I'd give it an 8. Remember viewers- the writers DID state early in the movie- Liam is SUPPOSE to have "worked" for the Gov't for over 20 years- you'd think he would have has many talents as any "Seal-Team" or under-cover agent would ( or we as movie watcher espect) , should have- it sets the movie tone so it comes accross some what Believable. Good Saturday night flix and Liam is such a good actor. As for TAKEN 2? Haven't seen it yet but only for actors involved. _ Darth

Religulous
In this new comedy from director Larry Charles (BORAT, "Seinfeld"), comedian and TV host Bill Maher ("Real Time with Bill Maher," "Politically Incorrect") takes a pilgrimage across the globe on a mind-opening journey into the ultimate taboo: questioning religion. Meeting the high and low from different religions, Maher simply asks questions, like "Why is faith good?" "Why doesn't an all- powerful God speak to us directly?" and "How can otherwise rational people believe in a talking snake?" For anyone who's even a little spiritually curious, this divine entertainment will deepen your faith...in comedy!
Ocean's Thirteen
It's bolder. Riskier. The most dazzling heist yet. George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and more reteam with director Steven Soderbergh for a split-second caper that stacks the deck with wit, style and cool. Danny Ocean again runs the game. The boys are out to break The Bank. Place your bets! MPAA Rating: PG-13

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.
