Gene Siskel
Best of all, though, the level of tension in the film is palpable because we can`t figure out how Arnold is going to terminate the Terminator.
Rick Groen
A pop epiphany, marking that commercially creative point where the power of Hollywood meets the purity of myth.
Jay Boyar
Terminator 2 does work viscerally, however, and with this kind of movie, that's really what counts. No problemo.
Dave Kehr
The pathos of the film is the pathos of its leading character -- it is a magnificent machine, but a machine it remains.
Kenneth Turan
More elaborate than the original, but just as shrewdly put together, it cleverly combines the most successful elements of its predecessor with a number of new twists to produce one hell of a wild ride.
Terrence Rafferty
The picture is full of spectacular action sequences and dazzling special effects, but the narrative doesn't have the snap of the original's: it's lumbering and monotonous, and it carries a heavy-handed anti-nuke message.

Inside Terminator 2 beats a human heart. But its soul is that of a killer machine.

Savannah Sullivan This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The story line in this movie is the best out of all three of the Terminator movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it. At the time it came out, it was the best futuristic movie that had ever been made. The "bad terminator" was liquid metal. Not even an endo-skeleton underneath. The third movie's "bad terminator" had some of the same qualities, but was not completely liquid metal. This one is the best. If Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't in the terminator movie, you shouldn't watch it. It's not the same without him.

Good old fashion action Great special effects without cg messing it up. Arnold gets to play a robot, so his acting is actually spot on. The story will never get old either, well until robots actually do take over... This is a classic and a must see movie for the pop culture references alone. Watch it now!

T2 With it's great plot, development of character, and it awesome action, it comes very close to topping the original. But it does have some strange ideas, like the terminator that is so easy to shoot, and it's out-of -no- were comedy with John and the reprogrammed terminator, which just makes the original terminator movie slightly the better film

Hasta la vista, baby! This movie is considered as a favorite for myself. The special effects, the quotes, and of course, the motorcycle riding Schwarzenegger. Of course, Schwarzenegger is now a protector to Sarah Connor's son, John Connor, a future leader of the Resistance. But, Skynet has sent out a liquid shapeshifting metal form called the T-1000 to kill the Resistance leader itself. Of course, if it is nothing personal, you better say "Come with me if you want to live!".
