There are so many variables moving so fast that it's a wonder Spielberg didn't have someone onboard from Princeton's department of Higher Math to help keep track. But his crack team here is enough.
Tom Charity
It's delirious stuff, often laugh-out-loud funny.
Joe Morgenstern
The action grows wearisome as it grinds on, and the film becomes a succession of dazzling set pieces devoid of simple feelings.
John Anderson
A frenetic bonbon with an empty center, and a movie made without any perceivable audience outside of filmmakers besotted by their own innovative processes.
Peter Travers
The Adventures of Tintin comes at you in a whoosh, like a volcano full of creative ideas in full eruption... It hits home for the kid in all of us who wants to bust out and run free.
Kate Taylor
Hergé was the pioneer of an even-handed style of cartooning with solid lines and no shading that became known as ligne claire, but there is a decided lack of clear lines in this erratic movie...

Redsideburnz ur dumb They aren't trying to appeal to a specific crowd or genre you moron. This may be strange to u but this isn't the first tintin representation. Go read a book you woefully hopeless fool! Great movie and great action scenes.
Horrible. Stay away. As someone who grew up with the Tintin comic books, I was sorely disappointed by this movie. Tintin is an idiot in this movie, instead of the daring crime fighter of the comic books. Action scenes are back to back, and inane. Avoid.
Must watch Gooooooood, amazing, great, action-packed, adventure-packed, awesome, cool, movie
Awesome movie One of the best the adventure movies I ever seen. The graphics were excellent. I like this better that all the National Treasure movies, and all Indiana Jones (except for the third one).
Indiana Jones for kids I love this movie! Beautiful graphics, clever story, great characters, there's something for everyone here!
Awesome If you like Tintiun...youll love the movie. They did a great job. Not 100% faithful to all the stories but it is well done. They capture the characters well.
The adventures of Tintin The movie was great but I ordered HD and only got 430p resolution. I had no problem playing the trailer in 1080p. The movie did not have the option to go higher than 430p hardly HD quality. In summary the movie was a good all around movie for all ages. Good Movie BAD QUALITY PLAY BACK!!!!
Ok Good story and amazing animation. Pace of the story sometimes a bit slow. Good to watch with kids
zzzzzzzzzz This amazing computer animated movie looked great, but the story was tearfully boring. Snowy was the best thing about this film.
Love it This was the best movie ever snowing was so little and adorable as well brave also tintin is a little cute
If you want a movie that has mystery to it,plus, humor and action to it.Then you have to watch this Steven Spielberg movie. It' really cool.Yet it' not really animated, but yet not really people. I think it was a great movie & I am a 75 yr. Old lady. If I loved it Their has to be a lot of you younger people who would love it Plus you older people. I think that I am going to watch it again. Check out the trailer on it.
Better than ever This new Tintin is better than the old one. Good job! When will we see more?
Middle of the road It was ok. Graphics were awesome. The story was good but kinda dragged a bit at times. Not for younger children, I think, so don't let the child-like animation fool you.
Very good movie Just got done watching it. Pretty good movie AMAZING animation thanks to motion capture! I hope more animated movies look this good.
Too Long I was so bored and surprised at how drawn out and stupid this movie was. Not understanding what all the hype was about.
