Frank Scheck
Zach Donohue's debut feature ingeniously uses only computer images to tell its tale.
Martin Tsai
False leads superfluously string the protagonist along; it feels as though the writers have padded the script rather than showed off their cleverness.
Andy Webster
Scenes pulse with the Internet's speed and sprawl, aided by clever editing that pops.
Michael Nordine
The Den's commitment to its presentational conceit leads to a number of implausible scenarios, but what's more disheartening is the gore-fest it turns into once the curtain is thrown back on the mystery propelling both Elizabeth and the narrative.
Garrett Oswalt
On the Fence, and Not Sure If I want to Skype Anymore... I was on the fence about this one. While a decent found-footage title, it still is a little lacking in story. I just felt that it was kind of a story that has been used before over and over again. If the film-maker would have tried to change it up a little bit about 30 minutes from the end, then the film could have had an awesome ending and would have been worth the watch. You just kind of feel let down by the ending, while creative, it was a let down to me. But it's still a solid found-footage movie so I give it 4/5!

The Den Shows the Dark Side of the Internet The Den is a thematic lesson rather than a good movie itself. It's about a woman that receives a grant for her graduate thesis to explore online activities on video-chat site, The Den. This film nails home the reality that the internet can not only control our lives, but completely destroy it if we put too much of ourselves out there. While the acting was average, the end had zero revelation and cinematography was absent due to webcam use, the film still had some good suspense and brutal, gritty scenes.
