F.I.S.H.I.N.G
F.I.S.H.I.N.G in the Dutch delta is about angling, hope and desire. A dazzling film with chilling images, passionate wisdom and ecological questions above and below the water surface. From monster Pike hunters to fly fishers, from Carp gangs and the famous miniature Perch tournaments to giant Catfish anglers. And the main question throughout: why do people fish? F.I.S.H.I.N.G unveils the parallel world of fisherman and fish in Holland. Down town Amsterdam, the coastline, the North Sea, the wetlands, Dutch polders and on and along lakes and rivers. F.I.S.H.I.N.G is a 90 minute documentary film released in Dutch cinema and prime time television by director Pieter-Rim de Kroon & scriptwriter Maarten de Kroon, makers of the international award winning documentary Dutch Light.

The Revolutionary Optimists
Set against the backdrop of the urban megalopolis of Calcutta,'The Revolutionary Optimists' profiles one small movement for change that has powerful implications for the billion people now living in the urban slums of the worlds growing cities. Salim and Sikha are twelve-year-olds --an unforgettable dynamic duo who are leading an effort to bring polio vaccination rates to 100% and are determined to raise their voices and demand clean drinking water for their slum. Kajal is a child laborer in one of the many brick kilns feeding India's housing boom, whose goal is to become a tailor and establish her economic independence, while supporting a movement for better conditions in the brickfield. And Priyanka is a talented teen who stands on a razor's edge between pursuing her dreams of becoming a teacher and dancer or succumbing to the early marriage that she has been led to believe is her fate. Weaving these young lives together is their teacher and mentor, the hot-headed former attorney and Indian visionary Amlan Ganguly, who believes that the slum dwellers of Kolkata deserve the same rights he enjoys as the Brahmin resident of a nearby suburb, and that true change will come only from changing the mindsets and raising the voices of the poor themselves. Together he and the children challenge the notion that marginalization is written into anyone's destiny.
Il Lombardia
When the heavy scent of autumn starts filling the air, the falling leaves and inevitable showers announce one the toughest cycling classics. With its winding roads and steep slopes of 14% maximum, the Giro di Lombardia also known as the 'Classic of the falling leaves' is pro cycling season's grand finale. The century-old race in the Italian hills surrounding Lake Como has been won by Italian cycling heroes Coppi, Bartali and Moser. And also legends like Merckx, Hinault and Kelly made it to the podium. The 1962 edition is by far the toughest in the history of the race and was won by Dutchman Jo de Roo. Still every year Dutch pro cyclists participate to be a part of this great cycling tradition and in the end to gain victory. Just with one simple camera Dutch director Johannes Sigmond and producer Robert Jan van Noort visited the race from 2006 to 2010 in an effort to capture the soul of this legendary Italian bike race. They filmed and talked to Dutch participants, visited the famous climbs and tasted the atmosphere among Italian cycling fans enjoying their monumental meals and espresso while waiting for hours on the side to catch a glimpse of the riders. Original soundtrack made by Blaudzun. Cast:Robert Gesink, Paolo Bettini, Karsten Kroon, Jo de Roo, Johnny Hoogerland, Angelo Zomegnan, Michael Boogerd.
Black Out
An audacious crime-comedy-thriller laced with colorful lowlifes, tough femmes fatales, and off-the-wall humor, Black Out is Guy Ritchie's Snatch by way of The Hangover, and a wickedly enjoyable ride.
On the day before his wedding, retired criminal Jos (Raymond Thiry) wakes up with a splitting headache, a missing wedding ring, and a dead body in bed next to him. With no memory of the previous day's events, he quickly finds himself pursued by suspicious narcotics officers and an assortment of eccentric and dangerous criminals who believe Jos has stolen 20 kilos of cocaine. With less than 24 hours to unravel the mystery, Jos is forced back into the seedy Amsterdam underworld in hopes that he can recover the coke and ring, and live long enough to make it to the altar.
