Tom Huddleston
This is a watchable but rather drab romcom which relies too often on Apatow-school cliché.
Richard Brody
An exemplary modern romantic comedy, personal and symbolic, goofy and substantial, tightly imagined yet loosely strung, wise in bewilderment.
David Denby
Like Apatow's "Funny People," the film is an intentional hybrid: half gag comedy, half open-ended exploration of everything that can go wrong -- and occasionally right -- between two people whom nature, if not society, means to be together.
David Edelstein
A charming, funny, reactionary mating comedy from the Judd Apatow factory...
Stephen Whitty
A fun, entertaining picture, and another credit to Segel's rising career as a writer and star.
Andrew Lapin
[It] feels poignant and real in a way few raunch comedies are.

Blunt has never been more relaxed, and she and Segel have a believably warm chemistry.

Terrible! Soooo long and unbelievably boring! Only two hours and yet it dragged on forever. Flimsy plot, poor performances, dreadful film.
Eh Love Jason Segel, but this was just..... blah. Funny moments mixed with lame scenes and ridiculously absurd plot lines. Just drug on.
Funny I laughed the whole way through!! Fantastic supporting cast. Watched it with my boyfriend of 8 yrs so maybe it was just more humorous to us, but I doubt it. Definitely will watch it again!!
Ok Never been a big fan of the man who is main character he is just a horrible actor. Movie line was good but dragged. Emily blunt did phenomenal maybe if that guy wasn't picked for the part movie wouldn't of been so sucky
Okay Movie was alright at the start then you can just tell it was dragged out, 2 hours later you don't like it as much and feel as it was a waste of time, Don't waste your money it's not worth it trust me!
boring I made it about 15 minutes before i had to turn it off this movie is boring and and a waste of time and money
Brilliant! I love a good rom-com. My laughter was enough to pull my gamer husband away from his computer to watch...and the movie was funny enough for him to stay!
Amazing movie, bad ending... I loooved tje movie up untill the end of it. Seems like the director knew how to make a movie which compiles with real life, but he had to add the happy ending sh*t for Hollywood BS.
Okay No real plot. Good acting with a few laughs here and there.
enough laughs for $3.99 Is Judd Apatow the Woody Alley of Rom-Com or what?! Definitely worth the price and full of good laughs. Now I am hungry for tacos.
Love Jason Segel! Such a great story ... the entire cast was wonderful!
Jason segel = hilarious In this romantic comedy we get to see Jason segel in a role very similar to HIMYM and he stars! I had never heard of Emily blunt before this film buy she stole my heart! And with a great supporting actor like Chris Pratt (Scott hatteberg in money ball) this move is a real feel good comedy that keeps you interested all the way through! 5 stars indeed!
Three years to long. They could have easily cut 30 minutes from this movie and made it much better not to mention taking one of Michigan's nicest cities and making it look like a hick back woods town.
