As great as I thought it would be I was following the movie for a long time during production and was super excited to see it when it came out. It was amazing, and so heart breaking with wonderful actors. I Reccomend the watch 200% five outta five stars.

Brutal Wow. This was a rough one. First - it's European from the politically incorrect part. Lots of nudity, harsh topics, tough situation. Story about "excessive protection causing disasters", about how couple of silly words could lead to a ruined life. Of helpnessness and resilience. I would say the closest US counterpart would be "We need to talk about Kevin". Strongly recommend.

Heart-wrenching and well-acted Mads Mikkelsen's performance in this film is top-notch and incredibly emotional. It's so easy to feel empathy for Lucas (Mikkelsen) and utter hatred toward the townspeople wrongly accusing him of such a vile act. This film kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish and I highly recommend it to any fan of Mads Mikkelsen.

Excellent Let me preface it by saying this is only the second 5 star review I've given for the '13 year (although' 'prisoners' deserved it as well) This is easily one of the year's best. Its very hard to watch, because you see how it all unfolds, more than innocently but properly, the character Lucas (Absolutely incredibly portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen.. I mean OMG BRILLIANT) does nothing wrong and everything correct, and i know that this sounds exaggerated but you cannot look away.. It simply is riveting.

SUBTITLED!! Except for a couple brief scenes, THIS ENTIRE MOVIE IS SUBTITLED!! This should be mentioned in the synopsis, not put in additional information at the bottom!! Google has no problem mentioning HD or that it has info cards! Why isn't subtitled mentioned there?? Or something as simple as writing the title of the movie in its ORIGINAL language, with a translation next to it. Oh yeah, would kill the sales.. BAD GOOGLE, BAD!!
