Robert Abele
"The Machine" percolates with an elegantly palpable sense of wonder and danger.
Dennis Harvey
"The Machine" works modestly well, but still wobbles trying to balance its "thinking man's sci-fi" aspirations against the need to placate less adventurous fans via standard action content.
Nick Schager
The Machine brings little new to the subject save for an ominously ambiguous conclusion about the consequences of making computers more advanced than their human masters.
Stephen Dalton
A classy slice of cerebral sci-fi with a literary-cinematic heritage stretching back through Blade Runner and Metropolis to Frankenstein.
Anna Smith
Good British sci-fis don't come along very often, so this stylish slice of a dystopian near-future should be welcomed by fans.
Stoyan Iordanov
Weak Bad script, bad execution... Just painful to watch. Too bad, the trailer made it look pretty interesting.

Cerebral sci fi This was a well made, low budget science fiction movie. This is not an action packed movie and this i think people who are accustomed to sci-fi as a thrill ride are disappointed. There a couple of interesting messages in this movie. What does it mean to be alive? And, can A.I. experience emotions? Interesting movie and worth a watch.

Awesome story..cherry 2000 of our time You would think this is like a sci fi cheese fest..no way. Awesome story and movie. Dark and alluring at the same time.Caity Lotz can totally act. Gorgeous girl but her talent surpasses her beauty. I could not stop watching this whole movie. Action and feeling all together.

Wanted more than I paid. This is a solid 3.5, but gave it a 3. The story moved a little fast, I wasn't fully connected to some of the characters like I wanted to be. Some scenes where not as polished as others. I don't want to spoil it. I have paid more for a lot less in theaters. If you don't like this, than you probably can't process it and should go back to watching P A, to have it handed to ya. Movies like this take real work, real talent and a real understanding of visual storytelling, so don't knock it. I don't like to pay a lot for rentals, but I don't feel cheated either. Enough said!

Well... It was OK. It wasn't a bad movie. For sure a syfi emotional drama and not an action movie. Scenes where meticulous about trying to convey emotions as such this movie was as much about what wasn't said as it was about what was said. For some viewers that could make the movie seem to drag or be boring, but it was a nice change of pace.

Singularity Principle
Synopsis: Singularity Principle is a feature length science-fiction film about the consequences of renegade experiments into Parallel Universes. Co-written and directed by Austin Hines and by physicist Dr. David Deranian, the film pays particular attention to accurate scientific detail and uses the fascinating science of parallel universes to bring audiences a story that will both illuminate and entertain.
The story starts off with the disappearance of noted scientist Professor Jack Brenner (John Diehl) during a fateful parallel universe experiment. Jack's protege, Dr. Peter Tanning (Michael Denis) is being interrogated by Dr. Lawrence Cason (William B. Davis) of a clandestine Black-Ops Agency to learn about the experiment and to find out what happened to Jack Brenner. Lawrence makes it clear that he wants to know everything about the experiment, including how parallel universes can be manipulated.
The story unfolds with Peter describing the events of the experiment up to the fateful day where Jack Brenner disappears. Lawrence pushes Peter relentlessly to tell what happened but also recounts his own past with Jack Brenner. This is all in an effort to persuade Peter to work for the Agency, continuing his research for the Agency's interests which involve controlling gateways to, and the people in, other universes.
The filmmakers of Singularity Principle are excited to be working with Big Screen Entertainment Group for the promotion and distribution of this ground breaking science-fiction film on Parallel Universes.
