Ben Kenigsberg
As befits a Tarantino-endorsed production, the anachronisms, one-liners and clashing acting styles are ostensibly part of the fun, but both the martial arts and the slightly dull narrative patchwork are too choppily edited to gain much of a foothold.
Ty Burr
Lunatic, slipshod, absurdly violent, horribly acted, and borderline incomprehensible.
Peter Howell
There's little happening here except slavish imitation and embarrassing hackwork.
Nick Pinkerton
If Iron Fists is sometimes badly made, it is refreshingly badly made.
Nathan Rabin
No matter the medium, RZA is a world-builder who has conceptualized the contours of the rich, bloody, dense universe he created down to the most insignificant details.
Alonso Duralde
The blood spurts, the knives shoot out, and the fists fly - but The Man with the Iron Fists never takes off.

"The Man With the Iron Fists" is the type of movie that feels like you are always coming in half-way through, even if you watch it from the beginning. As an exercise in genre, this is the highest compliment.

The worst movie EVER. EVER. No desire to delve into why this movie is the worst movie of all time, in the entire history of movies. I don't want to waste an extra minute admitting that I watched it. I wish the scene where they cut off his arms was real so that he may never make another movie, or at least have an excuse as to why the movie was so bad. The premise is genuinely damaged. Even for a stupid movie (something like Austin Powers where the premise is MEANT to be stupid). But no, this movie actually takes itself seriously.
Swing and a miss for the Rza! This film had so much potential to be one of the greatest cheesiest films ever made but the Rza totally sucked so bad at his attempt in acting. I was totally digging the soundtrack and his directing. Special effects were pretty cool. Nice ensemble of actors. Your classic kung fu movie plot. Everything was great but I cringed at every scene where the Rza tried to act. It was painful. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but love and respect for the Rza, but don't quit your day job. Bottom line is, this movie would have been great had the man with the iron fists been played by anybody else :/

Fantastic throwback to the martial arts films of old. Great directorial debut from RZA. Has everything expected from a throwback kung fun film with a star studded cast from Russell Crow to Lucy Lieu and even Chung Le of MMA fame. Other than some weak acting here and there, this movie is extremely self conscious and executed well. Well done RZA, I hope to see more from you.

One of the worse kung fu movies ever made. Love the Rza. But you had top notch actors and managed to make this movie suck.the whole flow Of the movie was off.The Rza's acting was horrible and I tried to get past that, but the action scenes couldn't make up for what this film was lacking. Good to see Bautista and Lu, but just horrible can't even watch it twice.

Don't waste your curiosity I really almost rented this just, because, rza and martial arts... But wow. Its not even campy. Everything about this was awful. The soundtrack, the scene cuts, the hair, everything literally was awful. Don't waste your time even out of curiosity. Even if it ends up being free. Oh and oh my god it ended with an open for a sequel in THE WORST way ever. Bird people. Guarding a damsel in a nest on a mountain. REALLY. Just stop now.

Believable Ending with that Old School Feel I remember watching bad Kung Fu movies thinking what if this were made in hollywood? This couldn't have been done by a more credible team of writers, producers, and actors. I couldn't have done better! I seen this about 8 times this week. And every part fits like a nut and bolt.
