TRUE CRITIC Wow did this movie deliver on being badass. Also, every action scene is filmed so beautifully that u can actually see everything that is happening. Now for the flaws, one character is in this movie that is played by the same actor as first movie and no big change in appearance so that kind of threw me of. One thing that I want to point out is that when u review this movie u should explain why u think this movie is either bad or good, don't give of the wrong idea about the movie.

So much pain I loved the first one, and the sequel is just as awesome. It's got a little more plot to it which is nice, but it doesn't get too heavy either. Just super awesome action sequences throughout.

Not as good as the first one The first one was a straight forward, nonstop action from start to finish. This one went on a way different direction with too much story, which made it 30 min. too long. I wouldn't have minded but the story was just mediocre. Other than that, the action is top notch with amazing camera work.

Loved it!! If you enjoy freaking awesome fighting scenes with awesome fighting techniques and a lot of badassery going on then hell yea come on in. The plot is better yet still simple and makes sense thus giving all the fighting that ensues reason. You dont need to watch the first one to understand the plot in this one, unless youd like to see how he got the scar on his cheek or want to know more about his brother. Cool characters (note i say cool not deep) and lots of places. I loved the soundtrack!! Watch it!

Wonderful action flick The movie is two and half hours long and I was never bored. I give the movie five stars, because it more than delivers on what you expect. It is an amazing martial arts action movie. The story is straight forward, but interesting enough to keep the plot going. The action is top notch and the fight scenes are incredible. I am glad the movie doesn't shy away from taking the violence to the limit. I highly recommend if you are any kind of fan of the genre.

Pure Adrenaline Starts slow, but speeds up and never slows down. Gives you a new appreciation for bats and hammers. Fight scenes are the most realistic I've ever witnessed. No wire Fu or over matched fights between 2 opponents.

Great Action And Fight Scenes... Good follow up to the first Raid. Now...I have read some reviews about this movie and I don't get the low reviews. It has a Good Story, and some of the most believable fight scenes you will ever see. I think some people have difficulty with following/reading the subtitles to understand this movie. I just give my honest review/opinion after viewing movies on Google Play. So if you're looking for action and a good movie that makes you lean and sway during fight scenes. This is the movie for you!!!!
Iko Uwais and Gareth Evans Deliver Again Another violent, brutal, action-packed masterpiece. This is how an action flick should be done. Hollywood take notes. Instead of remaking everything and producing silly superhero films, study films like this, or simply give actors and directors from elsewhere a chance to shine here. This movie, along with the prequel, has some of the most beautifully choreographed fight sequences ever put on celluloid. Long takes with skilled fighters. Not a bunch of extreme close-ups with poor editing, "shaky cam", and cgi
Action After Action This movie by far has the best hand to hand combat I have seen in awhile. If your into bone breaking, sweating, fist pounding, knife throwing and just 100% man testosterone pumping movie. You can't beat Raid Part 1 or Part 2... Highly recommended

Yay Let's be honest. You're not here for the plot; you're here for Gareth Evans' wall-to-wall action. Hello, there's a character called Hammer Girl. Was "The Raid" cool but a little tame for your taste? Step right up for this crowd-pleasing, bone-crunching fight fest. Unless you've got a weak tummy.
