Michael Sragow
Not since the schmaltzy Bucket List has there been a more blatant example of checklist comedy than the ultra-raunchy The To Do List.
David Denby
It's good-natured and raucous, with many scenes that are just sketched but a few that are truly funny.
Dana Stevens
Many of The To Do List's jokes have this first-draft, is-that-all-there-is? quality.
Bilge Ebiri
By proudly wearing its "otherness" (a word I use ironically) on its sleeve, The To Do List feels fresh and strange and wondrously new. It shouldn't, but it does.
Sara Stewart
"The To Do List" doesn't reinvent the wheel; we all know the "summer that changed everything" trope. But it's startling when you realize how rare it is to see a girl chasing sexual experience so...
Linda Barnard
Don't go to The To Do List expecting a comedy genre-buster along the lines of Bridesmaids. Rather it's more of a one-joke repeater set in the hot Boise, Idaho, summer of 1993.

Has a moral at least Not to say its not crass, but in todays world i guess it isnt. It had an impressive cast and the always 'too cool' Aubrey did a good job and was a pleasure to watch. The throwback to 1993 is fun for those of us who were of that era and gives todays young adults an idea of what it was like at the dawn of the tech age. Overall i did appreciate the way they did bring it back to a lesson and not just gratuitous and seemingly obligatory sexual situations. Jeff 'Lovits'
Robert Moon Id give this movie at least a B-. Bill Hader turns in a funny performance and some randomly raunchy jokes is what makes "The To Do List" worth wasting an hour and a half watching. Definitely not a comedy classic but its worth recommending to friends and maybe a second viewing if theres nothing else on. lol
