Chris Nashawaty
As in their previous comedies, Pegg and Frost play men who refuse to stop acting like boys. But these pint-swilling Peter Pans also know how to work the heart and the brain for belly laughs.
Adam Nayman
If Wright doesn't quite sustain this astonishing mixture of sadness and silliness all the way through, he gets major points just for attempting it in the first place.
Anthony Lane
The gonzo side of the plot is not quite as engaging as the human drama, and the scenes in which the characters meet up and try to mesh again are some of the best in the film.
Ian Buckwalter
Wright & Pegg continue making the sort of films that the 12-year-old versions of themselves probably always dreamed of being a part of; that sense of joy and practically disbelief that they...
James Berardinelli
The film's strength is its comedic bent - there are some very funny moments contained herein.
Christopher Orr
Robert Frost famously mused 'Some say the world will end in fire/Some say in ice.' I prefer Edgar Wright's vision: It will end in a pub.

So bad Very weak plotline and what is left of it is completely abandoned immediately after the set-up. So so many flaw. Omg so many F-ing flaws. So apparently an obese man has the same stamina as a track star and is a master at jujitsu. OK. I wish I had my money back it wasn't even funny. Maybe 1 decent joke thought 1hour and 1/2. Blagh so so so so so bad!

Perpetual pub movie when long time ago I was playing Unreal Tournament and DOTA when you were on a killing spree there was an outcry "GODLIKE, SOMEBODY STOP HIM". Basically these guys are so awesome - from Shawn of the Dead, to Hot Fuzz, to Paul. I adore them. So after exposing my biases this movie is just great. It is a movie worth watching holding a cold glass of beer. A big and tall. Jokes would be even funnier and characters even believeier. I would still rank Paul and Hot Fuzz higher BUT that is my personal opinion.

A TRUE Horror Movie That Happens To Have Some Very Good Laughs SEMI SPOILER ALERT WARNING- I went to bed after watching this film thinking the denouement was really stupid. Upon further reflection I thought it was a true nightmare ending befitting a true horror story. But the TRUE horror story was not about anything otherworldly per se. It was about a true sociopath. One who is interested in connections with humans only in so far as they serve his pursuit of his own hedonistic goals. This sociopath has no problems lieing to people who were his lifelong friends (all friendships he ruined with his actions), manipulating them or stealing their resources, including their identities. The sociopath thinks nothing he is doing is wrong and is so committed to his ego that when offered a chance at enlightement not just for himself but the entire Earth he refuses. He is only happen when the world is turned upside down and humankind is less happy, comfortable or civilized than it once was. In that scenario he finally gets to be the hero in his own story. And only then by befriending those who are not human.

But when the wild night leads them to the most notorious criminal in the city, James will find that his new partner's rapid-fire mouth is just as dangerous as the bullets speeding at it. Also starring John Leguizamo and Laurence Fishburne, Ride Along is an action-packed comedy with big thrills and even bigger laughs. (Original Title - Ride Along)

Kick-Ass
A twisted, funny, high-octane adventure, director Matthew Vaughn brings KICK-ASS to the big screen. KICK-ASS tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name -- Kick-Ass -- assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There's only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).
Ocean's Eleven (2001)
Danny Ocean likes his chances. All he asks is that his handpicked squad of 10 grifters and cons play the game like they have nothing to lose. If all goes right, the payoff will be a fat $150 million. Divided by 11. You do the math. MPAA Rating: PG-13 (c) 2001 Warner Bros. U.S., Canada, Bahama and Bermuda (c) Roadshow all other territories
The Heat

But when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected...buddies.
