Jonathan Rosenbaum
A lot of care and attention were obviously devoted to selecting locations, designing sets, and grooming handlebar mustaches. Much less attention went to making one believe that any of the events...
Emanuel Levy
A tough-talking but soft-hearted tale that is entertaining in a sprawling, old-fashioned manner.
There's a misguided romantic subplot and the ending rather sprawls, but mostly this is rootin', tootin' entertainment.
Stephen Holden
It wants to be at once traditional and morally ambiguous. The two visions don't quite harmonize.
Richard Harrington
Highly stylized fashion-wise but awkwardly unfocused in its plotlines, it aims for the western iconography of Sam Peckinpah and Sergio Leone but never gets past its own directorial hurdles.

Really enjoyable Not completely historically accurate, but it's pretty good. This is Val Kilmer at his best.

A must see, especially if you don't like westerns This movie is a classic of the highest quality. The movie is very emotional and leaves little for the brain to linger on. If rage and revenge get your heart going then watch this movie. Val Kilmer's performance as Doc Holiday is one of the great roles.
AWESOME!!! My favorite movie of all time! I could watch it over and over...Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) has some GREAT one liners in this! I throw them in conversation ALL THE TIME!
Characters that get ya! Fires you up to see the seemingly untouchable bad guys get theirs! Good guys finish... Know what I'm saying? :-)
I'm your Huckleberry. In my top 10 favorite movies list. Val Kilmer's best movie role besides The Doors and of course Real Genius. I'm joking about Real Genius.
Awesome! I don't even like westerns but this is among my favorite movies. The other western I like is blazing saddles.

Goodfellas
When Martin Scorsese, one of the world's most skillful and respected directors, reunited with two-time Oscar-winner Robert De Niro in GoodFellas, the result was one of the most powerful films of the year. Based on the true-life best seller Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi and backed by a dynamic pop/rock oldies soundtrack, critics and filmgoers alike declared GoodFellas great. It was named 1990's best film by the New York, Los Angeles and National Society of Film Critics. And it earned six Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director. Robert De Niro received wide recognition for his performance as veteran criminal Jimmy "The Gent" Conway. And as the volatile Tommy DeVito, Joe Pesci walked off with the Best Supporting Actor Oscar. Academy Award nominee Lorraine Bracco, Ray Liotta and Paul Sorvino also turned in electrifying performances. You have to see it to believe it - then watch it again. GoodFellas explores the criminal life like no other movie. MPAA Rating: R (c) 1990 Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc.
The Tree of Life
Drama
4
The Tree of Life is the impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950's. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt). Jack (played as an adult by Sean Penn) finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith. Through Malick's signature imagery, we see how both brute nature and spiritual grace shape not only our lives as individuals and families, but all life.

The Dark Knight Rises
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane. MPAA Rating: PG-13 - 2012 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Legendary Pictures Funding, LLC.
