When teenaged Andy plops down on the grass to share his old toys with a shy little girl, the film spikes with sadness and layered pleasure -- a concise, deeply wise expression of the ephemeral that feels real and yet utterly transporting.
David Denby
There are many sweet laughs and joking allusions to horror and prison-break movies, but the Pixar gang gets at the most primary fear -- being cast off and no longer of use.
Tom Charity
I seriously doubt there will be a more hilarious and heartfelt blockbuster all summer.
Leah Rozen
It's still more inventive, clever and laugh-out-loud funny than any other movie out there now.
Ben Walters
The 'Toy Story' films are deservedly seen as the gold standard for computer-generated animation...
Rafer Guzman
It's sadder and scarier than its predecessors, but it also may be the most important chapter in the tale.

Best one of them all I watched the first one when I was about 8... maybe that's one of the reasons I was trying not to cry lol realizing that I'm old. Anyway it's one of the best, the animation is amazing. You will laugh, you will try not to cry but you won't want the movie to end. Great for the whole family!

Captured essence of past films Overall the film had a crisp pace and the new toys introduced provided unique charm and a believable plot. Minor dislikes involved the length and the voice of Slinky. The film just felt really short. It ended and I couldn't believe it was over already. Also I sort of got creeped out when slinky talked, with Jim Varney being deceased and all. Felt odd listening to a slightly different voice for that character.

This is a sad movie Andy when he was a kid it's amazing just don't loose childhood cause it's fun being a kid and if your a grown up you loose your childhood and everything that you do when your a kid it's fun Andy is a good guy now and moving on to a better life cause life is like that kid turn into a grown up That's how life is and he throw his toys it's sad but Andy your a good man now with a kind heart and This movie makes people sad even Me so have a good life Andy as a grown up but when he was a kid it was fun

Attempts to grow up Let's get the technicalities out of the way: the movie is gorgeous, sounds good and the voice acting is top-notch. Ok now, this is in my opinion the weakest of the 3 Toy Story movies which is sad because it had the potential to be the best. First problem comes from the toys themselves. Toy Story created lots of new toys that were fun to discover and watch evolve as characters and we could also enjoy the licensed toys for a quick laugh but this movie puts all its chips on licensed goods which makes it predictable. Second is the story. They had the potential for a great coming of age theme for Andy who had grown up and was going to college but that was all squeezed out in the last 5 minutes of the movie which didn't give it enough time to breathe. The toys also had a good and artful chance to retire in this movie but clearly Disney didn't want kids to experience anything but glee so that was scrapped for a ridiculous and simplistic "McGuyver" ending. The kids will love it but I'm the kid who grew up with the original movie and though this movie clearly wanted to talk to me, marketing wouldn't let it. #ASwingAndAMiss
Before this, was Disney Circle 7 Animation. In 2005 Disney & Pixar's contract was near its expectation date, so Disney act dumb & created Disney Circle 7 , a sister animation company to make Pixar Sequels without Pixar's help. This includes T.S 3, Monsters Inc. 2, & Finding Nemo 2. There was no plot to the last 2 movies, but there is a plot 2 Toy Story 3. The plot: Buzz gets recalled & must be sent back in Taiwan to be fix. But somewhere the toys heard that the company is going 2 destroy the original so the toys set out 2 save him. What sound better?
Disney would sell more.. ..if the movies started off at 9.99 and then 14.99 for HD. Hard to pay so much when you can buy a Bluray off Amazon or Ebay for around the same price. The HD versions of everything on Google are only DVD quality (480p), so not really HD. Just afraid that when I get GoogleTV it's going to look awful on my screen.
Great This was a really great movie. Usually I don't like sequels. I didn't even like the second movie much. This was cute and also very sad with a happy ending.

A Fitting End This marks the final chapter in a dark franchise. The Dectives are back and they have slipped even farther into madness. Committing acts of such merciless gore. They've become quite sick at this point and are almost as sick as the men they put away. However I stretch the words almost because this antagonists are the darkest in the series. A fitting end for sure and if you like the previous films you'll love this one.
Very great My real names Natalie I'm 11 and I guess that I have a catchphrase wow but this movie would be better if that bear that I can never remember the name of turned nice again and andy took both woody and buzz and did not give them away that baby doll makes me cry every time when it misses its owner all you adults who make yourself hate a movie cause its meant for children you were once little watching brand new episodes of scooby doo that seem like old news to me just at least try to like it :)
Great~Jessie Once again Disney Pixar didn't disappoint. This was a really good movie. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It was funny and sweet, a perfect ending to this "toy story".
Expand your market Saw some reviews that say who would want to pay 14 99 Well I certainly do when its gonna be a for ever file that I have purchased I don't mind paying when it come to my kid problem is I bought the tablet and I'm going to send it to my son in mexico I bought the avengers with out checking the languages only to find out there's nothing but English which has stop me from keep buying all the 3 toy story movies along with some others that my kid likes
Emotional I grew up with Toy Story, so I have a spot for this series in my heart that will probably never fade. It sounds crazy, but I watched this movie when I was 19. No kids around. Just me. There is a lot of emotion in this flick and if you watch the ending without shedding a tear, you aren't human. There is a solid moral here too for the kids.
Hehe I hate how people dont like this movie because it was meant for kids. Go find a real life.... people. This movie is filled with all emotions put inti dolls and stuff. Its an adventure and fun movayyy.
