Jagdish Tyagi - aka Jolly (Arshad Warsi) is a small-time lawyer from Meerut, who dreams to make it big in the legal world. To pursue his dream, he travels to Delhi and sets up a shop in the Delhi Court. One day he files a PIL against an important hit and run case, involving a scion of an affluent family. In doing so, he locks horns with the famous, shrewd-as-a-jackal lawyer, Tejinder Rajpal (Boman Irani). Now Tejinder will twist and turn every law in the book to dismiss the petition, while Jolly will realize that this case will take more from him than he imagined. Broke and desperate Nitin and Ram need to make big money fast. They hit upon an audacious plan, to kidnap Moolchandji, the spoiled dog of wealthy Kujeet Kaur (Archana Puran Singh). But Moolchandji runs away, and the police think it's Nitin who's been kidnapped.
