Great action in last half If you can make it through the slow first half, then you are treated to a fast paced and thrilling last half filled with action and excitement. One the the few movies I rented on discount $.99 that I actually liked. Enjoy!

Amazing movie!!!! This had to be one of the best movies I've seen in a while! There was enough character development so that you really cared for the main characters throughout the movie. It was gripping throughout. If there were six stars, I'd give it that rating. This is a 'must-watch'!

Awesome This movie has great actions scenes and the story is interesting as well
Boring The movie was dragged out too long. there was a lot of unnecessary parts that could have been edited to make the movie shorter but kept the audience interested.

The Front Line
Toward the end of the Korean War, an uneasy ceasefire is ordered, but out on the Eastern front line of the Aerok Hills, in an expanse of land called the Aero-K, fierce fighting continues. A race to capture a strategic point to determine a new border between the two Koreas is the ultimate prize. At the Eastern border stands the Alligator Company, known to be the best soldiers of the front line. They are the only unit to have survived the worst battle of the war at Pohang. When a South Korean bullet is found in the dead body of a company commander, Lieutenant of Defense Security Command Kang Eun-Pyo is ordered to investigate Alligator Company for the murder. Upon arrival, Kang Eun-Pyo is immediately shocked at the state of the soldiers, the conditions on the front, and the presence of Kim Soo-Hyuk, a former friend he believed to be dead. With a truce promised for years but no end in sight, one man struggles to make sense of a crime in the face of countless lives sacrificed for war.
New World
The head of the Goldmoon crime syndicate is dead, leaving his top two lieutenants. Seizing the opportunity, the police launch an operation called "New World," with the perfect weapon. The boss' right hand man, Ja-sung (Lee Jung-jae, THE THIEVES), has been a deep-cover operative for 8 years, closely watched by handler Police chief Kang (Choi Min-sik, OLDBOY). With a baby on the way, and living in mortal fear of being exposed as a mole, Ja-sung is torn between his duty and honor as a cop, and the fiercely loyal gang members who will follow him to hell and back. Using inside information from Ja-sung to damage the relationship between the two feuding contenders, suspicions grow that a traitor lives in their ranks. Ruthless Jung (Hwang Jun-min, BLADES OF BLOOD) escalates the game by hiring hackers to search the police database. As Operation New World closes in, and with the stakes climbing higher and a gangland bloodbath guaranteed among those that remain, Ja-sung makes a final, shocking decision no one could have predicted.

They will stage a grand re-enactment of the scenes of the May uprising 25 years earlier, when martial law troops killed civilians, including women and children, who were simply exercising their democratic right to assemble and protest, in the early days of the South Korean democracy. The May 1980 has ever since been a dark stain on South Korean history. For the re-enactment, two groups of Gwangju citizens will play the roles of Citizen Army on the one hand, and of the Martial-law troops on the other, and confront each other in the square in front of the provincial government's civic center. The movie begins with stark documentary footage dealing with the actual event. Gradually, the story of Soonji and Jaegu during the re-enactment takes hold. Before long, the historic facts and fiction run against each other, as Soonji remembers her parent's plight of earlier times. As the reenactment groups collide, so do the facts of Soonji's life and the fiction she is now engaged in, until she can no long separate fact from fiction. A poetic, high production value coming of age film set against the backdrop of history.
