J. R. Jones
Technically the genre isn't beneath contempt. But this movie is.
Guy Lodge
Bringing a child into the world is no laughing matter, and all involved seem to have done their level best to make things as mirthless as possible.
Peter Rainer
Babies are cute and expectant parents often aren't. That kind of sums up What to Expect When You're Expecting.
Stephen Whitty
Director Kirk Jones and screenwriters Shauna Cross and Heather Hach consistently fall back on corny music and slow-motion to try to get laughs. Very little of this movie feels risky, or even frisky.
William Goss
Patently contrived to deliver the safer side of pregnancy-related humor over the course of five tidily intersecting plot lines.
Connie Ogle
Remember when advice books stayed on the shelves where they belonged?

It's a sitcom-y ensemble film (complete with product placement) that feels like you're flipping around the TV dial.

It's a funny movie.. If you're expecting.. if your not then best skip to the next movie on your list. Jennifer Lopez needs to stop acting (she's terrible), and focus on her own kids. Just saying.
entertaining It was really good. I laughed hard. Like through the walls.
♥ツ αωεѕσмє Gгεα† мσνιє......Those of you who think Jennifer Lopez is a terrible actress, please stop hating and get over yourselves because no matter what you losers think that woman is making her money. She keeps a job so therefore she must be good @ what she does.
Non-parents can enjoy it too We're not (and do not plan to be) parents, and this comedy could still appeal to each of us. Although a lot of the humor is based on "parent-situations" we could still relate to the characters and their dilemmas after having watched our friends go through similar scenarios with their own kids.
Very cute and moving.. It shows so many different sides to pregnancy and children and different couples going through it. Funny but cute and touching.I cannot wait to be pregnant again.its hard work but so worth it for the miracle to come!
Great ♡ I reccommed this movie to ANYONE. The plot was awesome even though the word "Comedy" does not fit this movie. Maybe one or two parts were pretty funny but I say it was more drama.
? Previews definitely made this.movie more then what it was. Did have funny and emotional moments. Just average to me.
A+ Im pregnant currently, this movie hit all the details!
Great movie! Loved this movie, very funny and cute! Loved all the actors in the movie, great film, watched it twice in one day. Its a chick flick :-)
Love It!! Awesome movie!! I can relate to a few of the female characters (:
Cute and realistic I yhought it was nice to see all the many experiences women hsve while expecting to be a mother.
Lame. Bypass. Better than a Marley's Mellow Mood at putting you straight to sleep.
