James Berardinelli
For those with a burning curiosity to know how The Lord of the Rings as directed by Michael Bay might look, Wrath of the Titans provides an idea.
Mark Holcomb
What it lacks are the very elements that made the first movie such a surprise: wit and nerve.
Peter Travers
This feeble followup to 2010's godawful Clash of the Titans sucketh the mighty big one.
Peter Howell
Worthington remains a distinctly humourless hero, which makes you long for the likes of a prime-time Harrison Ford or Arnold Schwarzenegger, who knew how to make a fondue out of cheese.
The father of the gods turned out to be a CGI-created, lava-spewing, mountain-sized creature with smudgy features and all the eloquence of a belch.
Mick LaSalle
A movie in which whole sequences consist of nothing but guys fighting stiff computer images. Such scenes would be boring even were they done well, but these scenes aren't done well.

Tom, Tom, Tom... Did it ever occur to you that Netflix may not work on some people's phones where as Google Play has fantastic streaming quality? Probably not. Only a TRUE imbecile leave an ignorant comment like yours in a section reserved for reviews - or maybe you work for Netflix?? Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie (probably just as much as I would have on any other app) and although none of these Hollywood remakes can stand up to the splendor of Ray Harryhaussen's originals, I highly recommend it to gene fans
Very decent I enjoyed the whole "family-dysfunction" thing, that in the end, we must learn to forgive and move on...or risk losing more than what we believed was most important. Very cool effects, a few "corny" moments, Perseus got his butt beat up a tad much....bordered on depressing.
Little Suspense (spoiler alert) There's little suspense in the slap-dash plot, where they quickly win battles that sometimes seem almost mockingly staged and contrived (especially when the human armies cheer in victory after an enemy goes down). In the opening scenes, Persius defeats what looks like a giant, two headed, fire breathing bat. Much later, there's a brief encounter with a handful of huge cyclops, and then a ram-headed man. Meanwhile, Zeus quickly converts Hades with but a few words. Hades then quickly restores Zeus to health. Kronos (the grand finale) barely gets out of Tartarus before Persisus slays him with a supercharged spear that magically appeared just moments before he emerged from the abyss. In every case, the enemy is quickly put down or converted after making the obligatory, posturing delay that gives the heroes just enough time to find a solution. In an apparent attempt to balance the lacking suspense, they kill off most of the "gods", as if to exalt and liberate mankind. Conclusion: It's worth a home rental if you're bored, but may leave you disappointed if you expect too much.
Wrath of Hollywood? Watch the trailer, but don't bother with the movie - plot holes, story and character development is weak, bad acting. Visual effects were cool though.
Good movie This is a GOOD movie but the plot is pretty simple and there is little doubt about what is going to happen from one moment to the next. No twists or anything. A few laughs here and there. The special effects ,however, are AMAZING! So amazing that it makes this movie worth watching! Watch it for the awesome special effects if not for the somewhat dry story line ;)
Hopefully the last of the titans Can special effects make a movie? The answer is decidedly "no." The first remake was barely three stars. This one is lucky to get two. Can you have a good story, incredible special effects, and decent acting? Yes, The Avengers, proves it's possible. This is Hollywood trash.
I loved it!!! I didn't think I would honestly like this movie but I really did. It was filled with tons of action and adventure. I even cried at the very end when Zeus turned to stone. It had lots of amazing special affects and the cast really did a really excellent job acting and producing etc this film. I definitely recommend this to all ages young and old that like movies such like this one as well as a touch of romance at the end also has its funny moments a little bit of it all loved it!!!
Wrath of the titans Awesome, great movie to watch...can't wait for the next sequel!
Too many movies like this out What another movie about stupid titans.... Boring, the action was mediocre and the plot was zzzzzzzzzz worthy.
What I expected Great action, terrible, terrible storyline
Perfection If your into mythology and action this is for you. I normally watch a movie and always seem to find something that disapointed me, especially with sequals. But I have to say this didn't let me down at all. If you watched (Clash of the Titans) then you must watch this. I only regret not seeing it in theater.
I loved it! I loved it even though ending was kind of sad. Didn't expect for all, but one of the gods to die.
Entertaining, but not great The plot was a bit slow, but overall an okay movie. Glad I didn't pay $12 for the theater, but a good rental.
Wrath of the titans Very good movie awsome effects.. Only problem was you only get 24 hours for 3.99 least they can give a couple days wish I had time to watch it again. Im going to rent it for the same amount but for 5 days... What a burn
Good but not great Needed more monsters and a bit more action
I liked it! I like the whole Greek mythology thing so I think it was cool.
