You won't be upset you saw it, you'll have some fun, you'll see Wolvie beat the living hell out of a helicopter.
Sara Vilkomerson
Did the plot points stick in my head five minutes after leaving the theater? Not so much ... but I know I was having fun while watching.
Ben Mankiewicz
Wolverine's backstory was good stuff -- but after the falling out with Schreiber, the story loses its center and it gets wobbly.
Ben Lyons
I was definitely disappointed.
David Denby
Alas, there's nothing quite memorable here: much of the combat is just a whirl of movement photographed up close. As the X-Men series has progressed, the startling poetic extravagances of the first film have given way to flesh-pounding clumsiness.
Peter Rainer
How does all this play out for those of us -- i.e., me -- who have not been staying up nights fretting over the origins of the X-Men and Women? The answer is: Fairly well.

Those movies where people get sent to an island somewhere, then discover that everyone's a clone, or a reactor is melting down? Imagine all of that happening at once, only everybody is indestructible.

Morons The people on here complaining about the plot have forgotten one key element, THE MOVIES ARE NOT THE COMICS... The story that this movie tells is compressed, some things are left out, others are stretched, and people need to realize that if they want a story just like the comic books it would have to be 3-7 movies long, and probably animated. Great movie, effects are low budget but fine, and the guy he fights at the end is just not Deadpool so get over it he is just a chimera.
Horrible They completely butchered deadpool. THE MERC WITH A MOUTH WITHOUT A MOUTH! Not to mention the cgi is terrible and wolverine was never related to sabretooth. I allso felt the movie was way too muddled. Another thing I noticed that bothered me was a lot of this movie took place in Canada but NOBODY had a canadian accent but for some reason they had southern american ones. I know thats being picky but it bothered me.
Good Had a few plot holes, just like every other wolverine movie. However, Wolverine was a lot more gruff and in character than in the other movies. I honestly prefer this version of him. Easy to follow, seeing as I started watching wolverine with this one, but they really should've carried out his beginning a lot better.
Too many stupid changes Hollywood sucks, I don't understand why they're given so much creative control. I mean making seem realistic to the times I get that, but changing characters and stories around that just plain idiotic. Dead pool was best the way he was not a mute cyclops with giant blades smh
FANTASTIC MOVIE As far as origin stories go, this has to be one of the best ones. I've heard many different accounts of Wolverine, his origins, and those of Sabertooth and Deadpool. This was a fantastic way to wrap the X-Men all together, explain the Wolverine-Sabertooth relationship, and explain Wolverine in general. Don't know why I waited so long to watch it. If you're going to watch it, go ahead and buy it. Had some crazy plot twists in here, and really loved the Deadpool origin bit.
Why does this movie have such high ratings here? The people that made it even want to bury it and love to advertise things as "don't worry, it won't be anything like X-Men Origins". Apart from the bad quality like other reviews have said, they got so many facts wrong and even ruined Deadpool! I can't complain about this movie enough!
Movies r different from Comics A movie can't go page by page from the comic UNLESS it's a tv series. That said, the movie did its best it could explaining Wolverine. But Deadpool man it's not right, just ruined him. Deadpool was never OP, just talks to much. I liked it and all I can say is At least he did his best way to shorten Wolverines Origin in one movie. Well I'm talking to the peeps that understands, its a movie trying its best to bring comics to everyone.
