Rafer Guzman
Dudes, we get it.
Tom Huddleston
With McBride and Franco trying on knowingly bad Brit accents and the entire cast clearly having a whale of a time, the impression is of the world's daftest, priciest, least self-serious end-of-the-pier panto.
Peter Rainer
Sword and sorcery movies often resemble parodies of themselves even when they are intended to be taken seriously. And then there are genre spoofs like Your Highness that are meant to be funny and leave you stone-faced.
Tom Long
This film looks like it was a lot more fun to make than it is to watch.
Stephen Whitty
None of this is very funny, and most of it is pretty ugly - the last half-hour or so is a paroxysm of bad special effects, amputated limbs and a severed sexual organ.
Liam Lacey
Basically, the script, from the title on down, feels like something sketched out on rolling papers.

As a comedy, it was a bomb. As an adventure, fun.. It felt many times through the movie that it was an adventure movie with knights and magic that suddenly remembered it was suppose to be a comedy. Because of the 'oh yea, lets remember to tell a joke" attitude of the writings, rarely did I even register that it was suppose to be funny. If the writers and the director had allowed more improvised lines, it could have been funny. Zooey Deschenal felt like she forgot she was suppose to act, which was sad because her role in the Tinman. James Franco's attempts at being serious fell flat. Even Natalie Portman, who has made some great (and not so great) action movies had a lot of trouble trying to overcome the bad dialog. With all that, it still was a fun time waster.
Its O.K. This movie has its funny moments, but for the most part, it was a big let down. I expected this cast to make a funnier movie then this. Danny McBride is his usual self except this time with a British accent. There are a few good parts but overall, I have no desire to see it more then once. I've seen Due Date a thousand times and that movie never gets old because it's truly funny. This movie is mostly toilet humor with a British accent.
Brian A good laugh, and Natalie Portman is gorgeous as always.
It would be good if it loaded Can't watch the whole thing , youtube works ten times faster. And its on a small a$$ screen so it should be 4 $ to own the movie
K Funny, goofy and entertaining. Come on people - it's not reality tv or actual history. Loosen up and just have a laugh. Excellent cast.
