This charming romantic comedy has all the right ingredients and serves up a serving of sugary romance and slapstick fun. Amit (Shahid Kapoor) and Priya (Kareena Kapoor) meet at a youth festival in Bangkok. The attraction is instant and they spend days together cavorting around Bangkok City. At the end of the festival when they are preparing to come back to Delhi, Amit loses Priya's trust and she decides to end the relationship. Amit tries to regain her trust by telling her that are destined to be together and Priya decides that if it is fate that they should be together, they will find each other in Delhi again, although neither know the other's whereabouts in Delhi.
Years go by and both of them are about to be married, but each still has this nagging feeling that the other was his/her one true love. Of course fate conspires to bring them back together (after about a dozen very interesting near misses) as they each simultaneously undertake one last attempt to find one another just before they get married to someone else.

Qurbani is the hot-blooded drama of two young men. Rajesh, (Feroz Khan) a small time thief and safebreaker, who serves a small prison sentence, is in love with Sheela (Zeenat Aman) the Disco crooner. Amar (Vinod Khanna) is a fearless and highly sensitive member of a smuggler's gang. Amar, a young widower, has a soft and lovely heart and his whole emotional world is centered on his daughter Tina. In prison, Rajesh meets Vikram, the former smuggler employer of Amar. Rajesh meets Amar in an unwilling fight drawn with Vikram. This is the beginning of a great friendship between the two of them. When Rajesh introduces Amar to his girlfriend Sheela he realises that the two of them have already met. Knowing his possessive nature, Sheela prefers to keep her previous meeting with Amar a secret. Vikram forces Rajesh into one last act of robbery. The two friends make master plan to fool Vikram on his job. Unfortunately, Vikram double-crosses them and the two friends become enemies. The misunderstanding is soon cleared, but by then Sheela and Amar's daughter Tina are in the possession of Vikram. There is a major fight between Rajesh, Amar and Vikram where Amar looses his life and offers Qurbani for his friend Rajesh.

It's supposedly based on a true story which is yet to be substantiated. Three friends from Delhi go missing in a small village - Jhanjhar. It's two months and there is no clue about their disappearance. The media and students movement demand action from the authorities. It's then that the government orders a Central Bureau of Investigation enquiry with officers Sidhant Chaturvedi (Akshaye Khanna) and Pratap Kumar (Ajay Devgn) to solve the case. They find it difficult to solve the case as the local police and other authorities are a part of Shool Sena, which is responsible for illicit activities. Sidhant and Pratap also face Ajatshatru Singh (Paresh Rawal), a ruthless police officer who misuses his power. Not only that even the locals don't support the investigation.

It's with the help of Roshni (Amita Pathak) who's the daughter of a rich and powerful villager, and Geeta (Bipasha Basu), who's Ajatshatru's wife and Pratap's former love, that the investigation moves ahead.

The suspense behind the missing three friends is revealed by Geeta who witnessed the killing of these boys by a local politician helped by her husband.

This investigation is filled with many traps and thrills by Ajatshatru and his colleagues. They try to destroy the name of CBI in number of ways. Things gets worse when Ajatshatru comes to know about er wife Geeta helping CBI. He then beats Geeta brutally with his belt behind closed doors and leaves her hospitalized. Pratap, filled with anger, traps each of the criminals by hacking their respective phone's databases and capturing their illicit activities on CCTV cameras. When it is Ajatshatru's turn, Pratap cuts him with a sharp razor and beats him brutally and mercilessly in a saloon behind closed doors.

At the end all the criminals are killed by village girl Jhamunia (Reema Sen) after sentencing punishments from court.

MASHAAL is a story about Vinod (Dilip Kumar) an honest fearless and crusading editor of an outspoken newspaper, who has vowed to eradicate the evils of illicit liquor, bootlegging and organized crime from his city.

It is story of Raja (Anil Kapoor - Slumdog Millionaire & 24), a young man from the slums who inevitably takes to bootlegging and black marketing to make his living.

Mashaal also tells the story of Vardhan (Amrish Puri - Indiana Jones & Temple of Doom) who is a powerful wealthy and respected figure of the city whose cloak of respectability hid all the social evils and crimes which flourished beneath.

How a chain of events change the lives of Raja, from a black marketer in to a young crusading journalist under the guidance of his now Godfather Vinod.

How Vinod’s life changes from an honest newspaper editor to becoming an underworld Don and a Racketeer, in order to combat the person responsible for his destruction - Vardhan.

Raja and Vinod are now on opposite side and despite every effort on Raja’s part, Vinod cannot go back to his old life - He has reached a point of no retreat... But Vinod has passed on the Torch to Gen Next and Raja must continue the crusade.
