Plot Summary
In About Water, documentary film-maker Udo Maurer takes us to the outskirts of human civilization and the stories of the dealings with the "wet element". From inundated Bangladesh, where houses turn into boats, to the steppe of Kazachstan, where fishing villages lie in the middle of the desert, and finally to the densely populated slums of Nairobi, where drinking water becomes a matter of life and death.
Customer Reviews
a must see documentary
This is an amazing documentary recommended to anyone who cares about the ecological issues of our time. The fact that such a large portion of the world still doesn't have access to potable water is baffling and it is touchingly addressed in this film that frankly I had never hear of before. Check it out.
great documentary
it is a very intersting documentary that can touch a lot of people in our world. I will be now more cautious about this problem. Thanks iTiunes!
