Across - Race Across America

Plot Summary

Christoph Strasser, 26 years old from Austria, rides the longest bicycle race in the world. Some even say the hardest. He is a rookie, but already famous within the ultra-cycling scene. After the race start he surprises everybody. He is in the leading positions. On the track - it's just him and his thoughts that can bring him toward the finish line - 3000 miles away in Anapolis, Maryland. After 1,000 high-flying miles his body starts to deny the physical struggle. Everything gets out of control. His mind, his body, his goal. A story leading from the end to various points within the timeline - gives the viewer minimal chance to get an understanding, about a person who has got a journey, neverending, a journey that isn't a race against the others - everybody has to fight with himself.
