Simply amazing

i don’t usually give any film a five star score, unless they are absolutely perfect, and this movie is (in my honest opinion)is one of the best (if not THE best) Found-footage film I have ever seen, and one of the best films of the year, period.
The acting? Believable and affecting. I actually cared about the characters and what happened to them.
The special affects? Realistic and well-implemented! The budge was obviously allocated appropriately by a competent team.
The locations? Breath-taking. Some amazingly beautiful shots of France and Italy.
I am in no way associated with this movie, and I am not one of those reviewers who gives high marks just because I know someone in the film or am part of its production (those people re the bane of my existence). I just know good movies when I see it, and this is one of the great ones. Stay for the credits, you will not be disappointed. The creative team should really be commended for this gem of a film. Amazingly done.

Afflicted

This was incredibly dissapointing. The acting was decent, but the storyline was predictable and never captivating. I was hoping for a movie that made me feel something... scary, unpredictable, horrifying, terrorizing... but it was just the same old vampire mantra played out a hundred times before... only this time through "social media". Not worth the five bucks to rent.

Very Good Flick

Nice spin on the vampire theme....and the special effects were pretty good. I never write these reviews, but I was impressed by this one. Definitely worth the watch.
