Plot Summary

Famous comedy by Georgy Danelia - kind, funny, sad. At first everything was fine, Afonya bathed in the fountains, stole, lied and rejoiced in his stupid life. And then (according to the law of socialist realism), he was drawn to native land, where under the supervision of a very pretty girl he turned from hero-plumber to hero-lover, and then completely re-educated into an exemplary citizen.
