Plot Summary
When three Texas University students travel to a Mexican border town on the eve of their graduation, the last thing they expect is to face their own deaths. Without warning, they fall prey to an ancient blood cult hellbent on finding candidates for human sacrifice. Based on true events, Borderland tells a story which blends the raw fear of Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the stark reality of In Cold Blood, evoking a world soaked in paranoia, fear and dread.

Did that just happen?
This movie is shot very well with great acting. It's so raw and and true that it strikes a cord that only movies such as "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Silence of the Lambs" would strike. You will be shocked at some points, covering your eyes at other times, and telling yourself "It's Only A Movie" until the credits roll. This is definately worth the money.

Just how Mexico looks like so if u wanna go there, first watch this film to see glimpse of over there. Anyways, awesome horror movie.
Borderland
Of all the After Dark Horrorfest movies, I think this one has haunted me the most, and believe me when I say that's a good thing! The movie is top-notch horror, and although the 'ritual' angle could've been completely lost without detriment to the overall storyline, I believe the strength of the rest of the film (acting, storyline, pacing, suspense, etc.) ranks it among the best of the After Dark series. I know that may not be saying much when it comes to some of the other titles in the stable, but if you're a fan of true, gritty horror films, you could do a lot worse than to give this one a go.
