Plot Summary
Nearly a decade after two young girls are brutally murdered, the monstrous killer, Jonah, escapes from a mental institution and returns to his familiar killing ground, the theme park attraction "Dark Ride." His unfortunate victims this time are a group of college kids on a road trip that inevitably leads them to the Dark Ride where their night of youthful fun becomes a nightmare. The killer, who is mimicking the sets within the attraction, makes sure this is a "ride" audiences will never forget.

i wanted this to be better than it was...
i love atmospheric horror films and this had a decent setup to play one out, however the film itself was a letdown. the story was more than even horror-movie far fetched, the acting was obvious, and the overall film was just tacky. so far i have only seen one of the after dark horrorfest films that was worth any amount of celluloid (reincarnation). respect your time and look elsewhere for something to watch.
Dark Ride
I was unable to go to an After Dark Horrorfest this year so I did one at home. I stayed up all night watching horror movies. This is one of the better teen horror movies I have seen in a while. There was minimal sex involved and the cliches weren't too bad. I wasn't too sure going into it whether or not I would like it. Right after they picked up the hitch hiker I laughed so hard I woke up my parents.
Fairly Decent
I think this movie was fairly decent. It would have been better if they released it in 2000-2003 because it seems sort of overrated and old.
