Derivative, but fantastic

With elements of 28 Days in the beginning, a good portion of Texas Chainsaw, a bit of Haute Tension, and a dash of Carrie for good measure (and even a sprinkle of The Descent), this movie is like an insider's guide to horror movies. Right now, the best horror movies are not coming out of America, but rather Europe and Asia. This is a good example of that.

With scares, gore, revenge, and political commentary all thrown in, I cannot recommend Frontier(s) more highly. It was entertaining from beginning to end. It is, however, truly a Frankenstein-like collection of other movies; but it's weaved together in an entirely original way.

And it has Nazis! And who doesn't love to see Nazis sliced up....

One of the best horror movie there is

This movie is one of the best in the genre. even though it's a foreign film, french, still the atmosphere, tension and plot makes for an exciting thrill ride. The ending though needed to be worked on. but the film itself was more than i had expected. horror movies, minus final destination and the saw movies, are lacking alot of energy. it surprised me that france could produce such surperior movies, last i seen was high tension which i still love, than places we should have expected movies to be better made. so my hat's off to the french. keep them coming.

WOW! Must see

Lots of suspense. Most blood I've seen in a movie. Magically disturbing! Must see. One of the better "Films to Die For" movies
