Plot Summary
Hidden is the story about a young man, Kai Koss (aka KK), who unwillingly returns to the small town he ran from 19 years ago. His cruel mother has recently died and left him the house he grew up in. He means to leave as soon as he has made all the necessary arrangements, but with his heritage comes dark and deadly secrets, and KK soon finds himself tangled up in a series of events that seem beyond anyone’s control.

Very strange film...
As far as visuals go, this film gets an A+. To call the cinematography beautiful would be an understatement. But there really wasn't a plot.
The writer brought several ideas to the table but never elaborated on any of them. It left me feeling fairly unsatisfied. "Hidden" almost wants to be a mystery, but never really tells us what the case is that needs to be solved. At the end, something IS revealed, but I didn't quite understand the significance of it.
Despite it's rather major flaws, "Hidden" is somehow very watchable. The visuals really pull it together, but it feels like there was something else that kept me interested besides that. The weird thing is, I'm not sure what that thing was.
I'd recommend this as a rental- it's very watchable- but I wouldn't recommend buying it.
