Unearthed should be reburied
This movie presents very little in way of originality. It borrows heavily from other "beast attacks group stranded in <insert location>" flicks but without adding any interesting twists or interpretations. The sound quality was also quite bad. The dialogue tracks were much lower than the explosive sound effects resulting in a constant struggle with my remote to turn the volume up and down.
Save your Money, watch it on the Sci Fi Channel
I first saw this stinker on the Syfy...and lo and behold, I forgot the name of it.... Probably because it was one of the worst alien movies I'd ever seen, or maybe because like most SciFi movies, it was so bad that it fit right into the catagory of all movies made for the SciFi Channel and just blew. Then I sadly rented it again, and was really disgusted with myself for actually paying for this horrible bore fest. So...if you like a movie with bad acting, bad plot, and and d-class FX, you'll like this. If you like the better Horrorfest films or a passable b-movie horror film, I recommend you pass on this one. This movie is not for people who like any genre of movie except for unbearably boring and badly acted. Personally I love horror and sci fi movies, and this is one of the most rotten of the genre. Not even worth renting.
After Dark Horrorfest
This movie was part of the 8 Films To Die For 2007. Others include: Borderland, Tooth and Nail, Nightmare Man, Lake Dead, The Deaths of Ian Stone, Mulberry St, and Crazy Eights. They pick eight films every year. There are also eight films for 2006. So if you like this one or just horror in general, see some of the movies on this list.
