They hailed from the rural South, steel towns, and the San Fernando Valley. As teenagers, and young adults, none of them thought that porn was in their future. They were artists, baseball players, child prodigies, and even Ivy Leaguers. Now, after their lives in porn; they’re TV stars, bounty hunters, writers, and social activists. What happened in between? And now that they’ve moved on, can they really live a normal life after porn?

i wish i watched this before i started performing in adult scenes, its a dark side owned by the same people who actually enjoy our work, there are a lot of fears in this business, mine is kids , the rejection!! but i see they can also save you from so much pain, remember sex outside marriage is a sin, we all sin in so many ways and some of us dont steal, kill,do drugs or scort for that matter, there is so much worst out there, judgement kills people every day, Excuse my english i'm an immigrant. xo
DON'T JUDGE IT UNTIL YOU WATCH!
I didn’t feel awkward watching this. After Porn Ends is truly a captivating documentary! As much as this piqued my curiosity, I didn’t want to end up squeamishly watching an hour and a half of babbling bimbos trying to prove their self-worth. I had the preconceived notion that all subjects would feel shame and regret after leaving this industry, unable to gain post-exit acceptance by society. This archetype, physically proven false as I found myself cradling the tissue box feeling inspired, empowered, and motivated at the close of the film. While there was a noticeable tilt to the female perspective of the scale, I found the majority of the women to be intelligent. The stories that unfolded were extremely well presented, informative, and humanizing.
Was okay
It was really just an okay B- movie. I thought a lot of it was really disorganized and poorly strung together. None of it was particularly fascinating nor was it presented in a particularly engaging way. I thought the clips they gathered to intermittently show during interviews (as done in most every documentary) were occasionally irrelevant and often lacking. By the end, I didn't feel particularly happy that I had watched or learned anything about a potentially very interesting field. I don't really know what to make of all the five-star reviews. It was underwhelming, to say the least.
