Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: It's hard to imagine just who would want to sit through this movie, given the sadistic mayhem the audience is subjected to.
Rotten: There's so little context to the litany of ugliness - some played for laughs, some meant to shock - that it's hard to discern where the entertainment value lies in any of this.
Rotten: Aftershock's best attribute is the disregard it shows for the safety of its central "heroes" who perish in brutal and generally unexpected ways.
Rotten: Aftershock is incompetently made and morally muddled, but since talent, morality, and Mr. Roth have never been on speaking terms, we're not exactly surprised.
Customer Reviews
Aftershock
It's a good thing this is a short flick because it is horrible! Don't waste your time.
Afterschlock
Exactly what wouldn't happen after a 9.5 earthquake.
Ridiculous negativism and senselessness. I see no entertainment value in this what so ever. Save your money, it's not worth it.
Eli does it again
Eli Roth is hands down Top 5 in my eyes, he's in touch with modern audiences therefore knows what he needs to do to tell a story. Nicolas Lopez did a great directing duty. Way better than 'Earthquake' ever was and way better than every other SyFy channel original movie. A worthy rental that I'm sure will be a worthy disc buy
