Plot Summary

The ultimate nightmare for a racist ? Becoming as black as the people she abhors. This is exactly what happens to Agathe Cléry: she’s struck down with a rare disorder of the adrenal cortex glands that causes the skin to darken inexorably. One morning Agathe wakes up to find herself pitch black… There’s no way out. Paradoxically, these cruel blows start to make Agathe more of a human being. When she’s taken on by a company who employ anyone... who isn’t white, it’s imperative that her true identity remains a secret. Especially since she’s fallen madly in love with her boss, Quentin. The girl is in a fine mess !

interesting comedy

Subject not easy to cover. It looks like the french knows how to treat that with humor... I like it!!!

This movie is AMAZING!

People don't be so sensitive, I'm French and yes i am 100% black !! And i didn't find this offensive at all. This movie had me and my family ( especially my old fashioned religious grandmother) roaring in the cheers and laughter. This movie was not targeted as to belittle other ethnicities , just shine light on what we as a society view as a typical stereotype, but what this film does is use humor to bring a revaluation that sometimes it doesn't matter the race you are. I ADORE this film i rented it……than i just had to comeback and buy it!!

Relax people...this is just a movie (and a good time!)

I can't really see what the fuss is about, this film is anything BUT racist. and more importantly it's just plain funny from beginning to end. Some more awesomeness from the largely underrated Valerie Lemercier.
