Plot Summary

Teenage outsider Maddy (Caitlin Stasey) is keeping some dark secrets and holding a serious grudge against the captain of the Blackfoot High football team. When Maddy joins the school's elite and powerful cheerleading squad, she convinces her new friends to help inflict her revenge. After a late-night party goes awry, their plans take an unexpected turn for the worst and all of the girls die. A sinister, supernatural power intervenes and the girls mysteriously appear at school the next day with a killer new look... and some unusual new appetites. ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE is a rebellious horror-comedy that redefines the genre.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Shot with a camera as excited as a squirrel-chasing dog, "Cheerleaders" has a girls-gone-wild energy and a twisted sense of humor. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Jun 12, 2014

Rotten: Even for those most receptive to the tongue-in-cheek tone here, McKee and Silvertson's in-joke will likely rate just middling on the scale of subversive hilarity. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Jun 9, 2014

Rotten: With all the finesse of a bullhorn that sprays noise and blood, "All Cheerleaders Die" shows just how difficult it is to pump life into the shopworn teen horror-comedy genre. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Jun 12, 2014

Fresh: All Cheerleaders Die actually delivers as much trashy, gory fun as a movie with such a title suggests. – Heather Baysa, Village Voice, Jun 10, 2014
