Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Without preaching, "All the Light in the Sky" poses questions that are worth asking, even if we know the answers.
Fresh: Anyone who has lived in Los Angeles for more than a few years will recognize the character type Adams plays here, though it's never been articulated quite so well on film.
Rotten: [A] tediously naturalistic and fairly pointless no-budget indie about the compromises of middle-aged femininity.
Fresh: Where the film excels is in capturing the quiet revelations in Marie's life over the few days it chronicles - revelations that represent the aftermath of choices made years before, when expectations were higher.
Customer Reviews
A beautiful, middle aged, sunny picture!
This film is warm and kind to the spirit, in ways you will feel long after the credits roll. There is a scene between Jane Adams and Larry Fessenden near the end of the film, that is in line to be one of the greatest scenes in any swanberg film. Worth every penny.
PERFECT.....
From the cinematography to the superb script & acting this will be the one film that sets the motion for others to follow....thank you Jane Adams.
