Many words have been written and sung about Elvis but this is a truly unique take on the story. You wont find any tabloid gossip here - just several stories of the man told by people who took part in his life one way or another. Nothing is more telling of the man than the effect that he had on other people. Lot's of people have stories about the eccentricities of Elvis. That's all been done many times over. This excellent documentary tells his story by letting other people talk about themselves. The people are interviewed with depth and sensitivity. There's really no reason for them to make anything up. None of them are selling books or trying to get on cable TV. No one is trying to get a piece of the inheritance etc. They are just interesting people with Elvis in common. The filming and questioning is probing without being opinionated or intrusive. The conclusions about Elvis and the people are up to you. This film is well worth your time and money.
