Plot Summary
Chipmunks ahoy! It’s a tidal wave of toe-tapping music and unfurgettable fun for the whole family as Alvin and the Chipmunks return in their greatest adventure yet! While on vacation aboard a luxury cruise liner, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes can’t help rocking the boat with their unique brand of ’munk mischief. But things get really squeaky when the gang winds up stranded on a remote island — and they soon discover their new tropical playground is not as deserted as it seems.

Rotten: There is chipmunk gambling. There is seductive dancing by Chipettes wearing only towels. There is a musical gag involving the lyric "whip my tail back and forth."
Rotten: Good news: The shrill CG rodents, who last infested theaters in 2009's Squeakquel, are stranded on a jungle island with little hope of survival. Bad news: They've brought us along.
Rotten: Maybe for the next installment, they can go off to college and find something better to do than making these silly movies.
Rotten: Largely inoffensive but equally unimaginative.

Great Family Movie
The chipmunk movies are great for all ages. I watched the cartoons and movies as a kid. Comedy and action/adventure makes it a fun movie for everyone!
A Really Fun Adventure
The first movie was excellent so was the second, but I didn't know what to expect in this one but really enjoyed it. It is a great family movie everyone should watch it.
