Plot Summary
This spirited documentary follows two opposing high-school cheerleading squads as they go head to head to win the coveted National High School Cheerleading Championship. Following them every step of the way, “American Cheerleader” tells two simultaneous stories of dreams and dedication, and of hard work and hardships, but only one team can walk away from Nationals a champion.
