Customer Reviews

Weak despite apparent talent on the part of many involved.

It's a movie to be watched while you put your brain on hold. A basically weak, formulaic and derivative script is not saved by contrived violence. But sometimes, this is the kind of late night popcorn movie that you want to see. As long as you know what you getting yourself into, it can be fun. There is violence a plenty - even if it is all too often staged rather poorly. A couple of scenes are needlessly contrived so that Michael Beihn gets to take his shirt off presumably as a thrill for any women or girls who might see this film but this is absolutely an adolescent male kind of flick - not a chick flick in any sense. And since I have mentioned him by name, Michael Beihn and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa are both too talented as actors to be doing this kind of B grade flick. I'd recommend they get better agents. Their talents are wasted here.
