Plot Summary
If you thought your family was nuts, wait until you meet this Chinese-American clan! Traditional Grandma tries to rule the roost, but her children and grandchildren have ideas of their own. When devoted but frustrated daughter Yvonne (Sylvia Chang, Eat Drink Man Woman) falls for a hunky Hispanic dentist (Esai Morales, La Bamba, TV's NYPD Blue), cultures hilariously collide. Gather around for nonstop laughs in this warm-hearted satire of ethnic stereotypes and family relationships.

A feel good movie about family.
If you come from a unique family or have unique characters in your family, you will be able to associate with this movie, and the ethnic part of it doesn't matter. It's just about the dynamics of a family, and then when you try to introduce somebody from outside the family, and deal with different generations, you throw a monkey wrench in the works. You think your family is unique? Well, every family is unique. A great feel-good movie about families and relationships new and old.
