Rotten: Gangster cliches fly like submachine gun bullets in the Italian crime biopic "Angel of Evil," a restless and hollow rundown of '70s criminal Renato Vallanzasca.

entertaining. good staging. fairly good acting. and the story is real which makes it sufficiently compelling.
it's amazing how similar all these arch criminals are/were.
what's particularly fascinating is the leniency, i would even say the humanity, of euro justice.
caveat: i'm an italophile so i was prejudiced in favor of this movie.
