Plot Summary

When the African savannah runs dry, Billy, a courageous meerkat, and Socrates, a laid back lion, prepare to go the distance in order to find water. On their journey they cross paths with a rooster named Charles, who tells them of a place where the water still flows. But by the time Charles leads them there, humans have already staked their claim - a local entrepreneur has constructed a dam in order to divert the water to his luxury hotel. Now Billy and Socrates must call in all of their animal friends in order to teach humans a thing or two about sharing the land!

Customer Reviews

Seriously lacking any heart or humor.

I've sat through almost every children's animated movie ever made (I am not joking), and this one really lacks any sense of humor. Neither my six year old son nor I even chuckled once during this film. I even had the sense that the animated humans were being played by really bad actors.

The "humans are destroying the earth" theme fell flat. The animals have zero charm. The humans look odd, and the one animated youth is downright dour. The domesticated monkey is almost scary.

Since I can't get my $3.99 back, why not save yours?

0 stars

I watched the first 5 minutes of this movie and I couldn't take any more of it and watched another movie instead. There was nothing funny in it at all and the animation was terrible! No wonder this movie never made it to the theater. Don't waste any more time with this movie and just watch something else!

Don't buy

This is a copy of Madagascar 2. Very similar. Plus the animation is ugly. There's a reason this never hit theaters.
