Plot Summary
In this drama/comedy, the little moments that define the everyday lives of a student beautician, an elderly exhibitionist, a Native American road worker, a Vietnamese banker, and his adopted American son reveal the similarities between very different people.

PASS THIS ONE BY FOLKS! This movie failed to deliver.
I love to seek out off-the-wall movies in search of an interesting plot, deep characters and some kind of meaningful lesson. Unfortunately, this film did not deliver anything but a yearning for it to end soon. I kept thinking that in the next few minutes, something really great was about to happen, so I'll watch a little more. Nope. Well, maybe in the next few minutes. Nope again. College students could have done a better job at making this movie, honest! This was a BIG flop, so don't even waste 99 cents. It COULD have been a fair movie if there WAS a plot, but each character rambled on with their individual lives, but they weren't interesting. It was dull, dull, DULL! I'll keep trying other 99 cent films though. There's some gems out there :)
a sleeper of a pleasant surprise
took me awhile to get into the flow. but this movie was brilliant. character development as befits the coen brothers. very almost documentary feel. yet some beautiful imagery as well. human.

Nothing happens in this movie. It goes on and on and you keep hoping but it is a total waste of time.
