Plot Summary
Archie Williams is a 17-year old media geek who has suddenly found himself the most talked-about kid in school. He has announced that he's going to kill himself - on camera- for a class project. His classmates, parents, Sierra - the most beautiful girl in school, and a ""Shady Bunch"" of shrinks, doctors, pill-pushers, and counselors descend on Archie. Some are hoping to save him, some want to imitate him, others try to push him over the brink. Archie films every moment of his high school experience, hiding nothing from his audience: realities of life, death, violence, sex, drugs, and the intense media overload and hypocrisy that bombard all teenagers.

Fresh: Parts neatly capture teenage angst and parts have a sharp documentary flavor.
Rotten: Introduces one more gratingly solipsistic, absurdly precocious movie adolescent to test our boundaries for empathy.

Great film, every teen should see.
Hi, I had the pleasure of seeing Archie's Final Project a few years back at a film festival when it was titled "My Suicide". The first thing I thought while walking out of the theater was wow, that is nothing I have ever seen before. You will be amazed at the details, design, fast editing that this film has thoroughly examined. For the film, it deals with a heavy subject, teenage suicide. Now out of all the films I have seen, "The Virgin Suicides", "Thirteen" (that was a pretty good one), for this generation Archie's Final Projects hits directly home. Every thing said, done, is exactly what teenagers are going through, without being too overly dramatic or lacking of. There are even hits of comedy which makes moments of laughter, but overall the seriousness of the film and the message is real, you are submerged with the characters and the emotions that you can't help but feel. Archie is a kid that genuinely yearns for connection, the feeling of being in touch with others. He is a media geek, but who isn't nowadays in this 21st century? With all this technology, I can see why someone would break. With that being said, please do yourself a favor, and watch this film. At least once, and educate your children.. Teachers, parents, mental health professionals this is a must.

Kudos To David Lee Miller
I am so jealous of Mr. Millers knowledge, ability and extraordinary talent that, like the movie 'Slipstream' with Anthony Hopkins and Lisa Pepper, is so visually reminiscent of John Lennon's #9 Dream. I can easily say that this film is one you should definitely own, period. It touched so many triggers in my mind / lifes recollection, I have no negative comment at all about it, whatsoever.
The cast, crew, tape quality and story were all perfect and all "A List" Hollywood. That should say enough. One last added thought about your video Mr. Miller, is that it stands as a perfect final tribute to David Carradine and his lives understanding. Thanks for that. Good show, everyone. That's a wrap.
Highly Recommend
Wow, Money well spent. I'm not even sure how to describe it. All I can say is I'll won't forget this film anytime soon. Glad I watched this
