Plot Summary
Oscar-winners Michael Caine ("Secondhand Lions," "Austin Powers: Goldmember") and Christopher Walken ("Man on Fire," "Catch Me if You Can") star in this heart wrenching tale of four generations of men who are suddenly brought together by the chance to uncover the truth about their family's past. It's a journey that takes them on the road to a world full of surprises - some comic, some dramatic - yet all of them personal. A Mysterious road trip leading to understanding and forgiveness. Lessons in life usually only learned when we are old or it is too late to make a difference. Loved the music. Where is the soundtrack on itunes for this one?

A really beautiful unseen gem of a film. Makes me ask the question is Josh Lucas one of the best most underappreciated actors working today?
A splendid ride
I love this movie. It's slow and easy, like the story. Simple is always the best in my book. The film especially gets cooking when the boys hit the road, after the Michael Caine character dies. Then it becomes a very touching road movie, and those are hard to find. The music is great. If you're looking for bombs and babes, this movie is not for you. But if you're looking for a slice of real life (even if it's not your own), then you're in for a splendid ride.
