Fresh: The wonder is that this Polyphemus of productions does not simply collapse of its own overweight; but, thanks principally to Showman Todd, the picture skips along with an amazing lightness. – TIME Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: With a smash lineup of stars in major and minor parts, Todd has turned out a surefire hit. – Variety Staff, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Around the World in 80 Days

I saw this as a 7 year old and have remembered it since then. I've seen it a couple of times since and am still in love with the romance of a helter-skelter race around the world. David Niven and his old fashioned British pomp, these are all actors who are so natural and smooth that you can let your guard down and enjoy the movie without the feeling there is a horrible twist around the corner. This movie was made when the whole frame was in focus not just the central characters, everybody and everything is clear, the scenery and props are real, It's just like you are there in the crowd watching. The music is fitting for the light hearted theme. Cantinfloss is the latin equivalent of a Marx brother. I recommend this movie as a family movie that will give children a real view of foreign countries, not the danger but the real beauty and grandeur of their past.

Great Movie A "Classic"

this is a great movie to watch with the whole family no special effects from this days can make this movie better.. its was just good enough with such as good actors even CANTINFLAS is in it ! i heard rumors that when the premier of this movie in new york city at lincoln center everybody just give applause and ovation to Cantinflas because he was the spanish charles chaplin ! love this movie..and is kinda shame that it doesnt have too much critics only 2 =_='
