art machine

awesome flick- loved the cinematography and performances. definitely gives you a taste of what the cool kids in brooklyn are up to, while having a great story to boot.

Fantastic Film

This film does a tremendous job of depicting the stress and struggles of a young art prodigy in New York City. With plenty of wit and interesting characters along for the ride, it is a thought-provoking and captivating story of the responsibilities of talent and the burdens of creativity.

I purchased Art Machine on a whim after reading about it online, and was very surprised by the depth of the story. I had never considered what might happen to those 5 year olds you see on the local news painting masterpiece after masterpiece. This movie tells their story. A story of childhood genus developing into adult rebellion. I was captivated.

Have been waiting for this forever!

Art Machine is not your average coming of age story because it's not about growing up but channeling the age you are. I highly recommend this film to anyone who's ever struggled to figure out who they wanted to be in this world -- which I'm guessing is pretty much all of us.
