Dont let the title fool you
The movie failed to show the cultural history behind persian weddings. The title is deceiving as to the movie's real theme. Rather the theme is centered more around a political commentary. And, the movie failed on this level as well. There was so much potential to show the beauty of a persian wedding & the closeness of families rather than focusing on political discourse grounded in circular rhetoric. Awful!!
