Plot Summary

Emily Johnson, her boyfriend Bobby and their friends Clare and Jude are recent college grads driving cross-country, taking a last vacation together before they face the real world. An accident leaves them hurt and stranded on a lonely Louisiana road. When the ambulance arrives, it whisks them to Mercy Hospital. With a minimal staff and many of its floors empty, the hospital is an eerie place…but that's only the beginning.

Definitely Quite the Squirm-Fest

After Dark Horrorfest has struggled to create quality horror films due in large part to the low budgets they have to work with. Autopsy is one of the few Horrorfest films that really succeed in standing out and accomplishing the goals they had set. It is by no means perfect, but it meets expectations and even exceeded some of mine. Basically, a couple of dumb teenagers get tossed into a gauntlet of unthinkably terrifying circumstances. While this horror plot has been beaten into the ground by many mediocre filmmakers, Autopsy executes this premise in an interesting way. I'm a seasoned horror fan, but I still found some scenes difficult to watch (in particular, one scene involving a MANUAL drill to the head remains etched in my memory). The acting isn't perfect, but its certainly passable. Autopsy doesn't disappoint. Its an ultra-gory, scary, hard to watch movie that should appeal to all fans of horror.

Fun

It certainly doesn't break any new ground, but it is better than most of what we got in the last Horrorfest. It's fun to watch with some descent gore...plus you get Adrianna from the new 90210. I recommend it if you enjoy the Horrorfest movies.

Autopsy of "Autopsy"

this movie wasn't a wonderful scream-filled movie, but it was high above the normally held standards of After Dark Horrorfest. The story in the movie starts right off and gets you interested immedietly. Acting is pretty good, and the effects are okay. The movie is gory, but don't complain; it is a horror movie after all. If you have some spare time, rent this movie at your local store instead of spending $10.00 on here.
